Extra credit blog 3

Earlier in the week I was mindlessly scrolling through social media when I came across a video about a kid with a very rare skin condition. In the video the kid who’s name is John Hudson receives a new home that helps accommodate his condition. The disease john has is called Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB, which causes my skin to be fragile, to blister and shear off easily. Life expectancy for children with this condition is usually only 40 years. Stories like this make it hard for me to complain about anything. We should all take a step back and realize how fortunate we are. So many people are going through terrible diseases. This also showed me a good side of social media. It shows a heartwarming story about a kid who’s been through so much getting a house that can make him and his family’s life a little easier.
