As Floridians we have a lot of interesting things that come from our great state. From oranges to gators and of course our amazing beaches. However another thing our state has given is the grocery store known as Publix. Everywhere I go I seem to find myself near a Publix. I am glad to say I work for them but working for this Florida based company has its ups and downs. Several of my coworkers have been with the company for ten years or more. In this article I am going to tell you about mine and their experiences working for Publix. Since I have only been there for a little over a year I don’t have as much knowledge as my coworker Todd who has been with the company since 2007. The department I am in and will be talking about the most is the grocery department. You can argue that our department is what keeps the store running.

I think this is a great topic for an interview. I also work for Publix, I have been there for 3 years. It can be an extremely frustrating job, especially in my department, Customer service. I think it is great to interview an employee because we know the things that most customer don’t know. Everyone person you talk to will say that they love Publix so it is great to get a deeper look into things.

It is cool that you are interviewing a Publix employee. I have heard mixed thoughts on working at Publix. Many times it is good with many benefits. So it would be great to get another perspective of Publix from the perspective of a person that has worked there for a long time and has been through ups and maybe downs of the company.

Interviewing someone who works at the same company as you could provide you with a very personal interview. I love this topic because you kinda get a look into the future if you decide to stay as long as your coworker. Wonder what kept him there since 2007 ?

As others have commented, I also work at Publix. It is an interesting experience to say the least. It’s so weird that it is just a grocery store. When you work there, it feels like you are part of something different. I am not saying this in a positive or negative way. There are so many things I can say about working at Publix but it would be hard to understand unless you work there or have worked there yourself. I look forward to reading this interview.
